What stops a seller taking payment and keeping the alias?
Ownership transfers through Vend's transfer flow, not on trust. Payment and acceptance happen on the same page, and forwarding switches to the buyer when the transfer completes.
Can I buy an alias without a Vend account?
You'll create a free account to accept a transfer - that's what the alias forwards to once you own it.
Do transferred aliases keep working forever?
Yes. Aliases live on Vend domains or Vend-managed custom domains, so DNS and renewals are handled regardless of who owns the alias.
